IEOR offers Master’s (M.Tech.) and Doctoral (Ph.D.) degrees in Industrial Engineering and Operations Research, and a Dual Degree M.Sc.-Ph.D. in Operations Research.

The Master's programme prepares students for a professional career in various fields, and provides the theoretical foundations for those interested to pursue doctoral research. The Doctoral programme supports a wide range of work ranging from fundamental theoretical contributions to innovative applications.

The IEOR programme is unique in its contemporary flavour, with new courses in Multi Player Decision Making Models, Pricing and Revenue Management, Systems Dynamics and Services Management, to name a few, in the last three years. The programme is equally strong in background building, with updated courses in the areas of Optimization, Stochastic Models and Simulation. These include courses on Integer Programming and Markov Decision Processes in the last three years.

A number of continuing education programmes (CEP) have been run by the IEOR faculty in collaboration with other departments and external organizations to meet the manpower training and knowledge upgradation needs of the industry.
