Mrs. M. Shenoy, Superintendent in the IEOR office from July 2009 onwards, and having the distinction of being the first staff member of IEOR, retired on 31st December 2012. She took charge of the department office at a time when the IEOR community was still quite small. She was a key person in setting up the IEOR office, with a proper system for documents, stores, complaints, equipment, attendance and various other things.
A farewell was organized by the IEOR community on 22nd January 2013 where faculty members, students and staff wished her a happy life ahead and presented her with a token of appreciation.
