Participation and receiving a "Best Paper Award" in ISCI 2013

ISCI (International Simulation Conference of India) is an International forum in India where recent Development in the field of System Simulation are talked about. ISCI-2013 was the second edition held from 21st to 23rd February at IITM Research Park, hosted jointly by IIT Madras, Chennai and PMI.  Prof. Jayendran Venkateswaran, Ms. Ketki Kulkarni and Mr, Ratnaji Vanga attended the conference.

Prof. Jayendran Venkateswaran presented a keynote address on 'Hybrid Simulation and Optimization Approaches'.

Two Research Scholars also presented their work. Ketki Kulkarni presented on "Hybrid Simulation and Optimization Approaches to the Scheduling Problem" in the doctorial consortium for which she received the "Best Paper Award".  Ratnaji Vanga presented on "Performance Evaluation of Bat Algorithm to Solve Deterministic and Stochastic Optimization Problems", a joint work with Manu Gupta and Prof Jayendran.
