Title: Optimization of Power Delivery Networks
Speaker: Jai Narayan Tripathi, Electrical Engineering, IIT Bombay
Venue: ME 217
Time: Friday, September 28, 2:30 PM
Abstract:
Power delivery network is optimized for maintaining Power Integrity in a high speed system. Optimum number of decoupling capacitors, their value and their optimal positions on the high speed board, are found by Particle Swarm Optimization. A generic methodology has been developed for real world problems.
About the speaker:
Jai Narayan Tripathi is a Ph.D. student at the Electrical Engineering Department, IIT Bombay. His research focusses on power integrity in electronic devices. He has worked in the past at ST Microelectronics.
