VENUE: ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING SEMINAR HALL (EESH),
NEAR EE BLDG
The theme of this symposium is in
modelling and analysis of optimization problems arising in Supply
Chains. The focus will be on Quantitative techniques in traditional as
well as emerging areas of supply chain management. The symposium is
being organized for Researchers, Doctoral, Master's and senior
undergraduate students, and teachers working in the broad areas of IE
and OR. We hope to provide an exposure to students about research
possibilities that can be pursued at the IEOR programme at IIT Bombay,
and in other research groups.
IEOR invites research scholars, students and all professionals to
participate in the Symposium. Those who wish to attend, kindly register
yourself by sending a e-mail to our Symposium Coordinator, at
jayendran@iitb.ac.in
with the subject as "Symposium-2007". Please mention in your
e-mail: Name, Current academic/ professional status, Affiliation and
travel plans for those coming from outside Mumbai.
We will make arrangements for local hospitality for a limited number of
out station Ph.D. and Master's students who wish to participate in the
Symposium; we regret not being able to support their travel.
