The 52nd Convocation of IIT Bombay was held on 9 August, 2014. IEOR Ph.D. student Vikas Vikram Singh received "Excellence in Thesis" award for his dissertation "Some topics in Stochastic Games". The award is given to a selected set of students in the Ph.D. programme for their exemplary contributions during their thesis work, overall academic performance and contributions during the student's tenure in the doctoral programme.
In the same event, Manish Punjabi was awarded the Institute Silver Medal for securing the highest CPI in the outgoing batch of M.Tech. students of our programme. Congratulations to both Vikas and Manish!
