POST 1: Position & Salary
- Manager post in the areas of Operations, Quality control and Training (Multiple posts: one location is Mumbai office at IITB; others will be outstation in North India)
- Consolidated salary in range between Rs.40000 - 56000/- p.m. (can be revised further based on qualification)
- Involves travel across India, especially in North India
Qualification & Experience
- M. Tech (Industrial Engineering) or equivalent degree, or
- MBA (Operations) / B Tech (Production)/ or equivalent degree with minimum 2 years of relevant experience.
- Data analysis knowledge/experience may be useful, along with sound Operations Management expertise.
Job Profile
- Overall monitoring & implementation of field level activities
- Conducting management trainings at various program locations
- Orientation & training of field level team members
- Setting up of assembly & distribution and after sale service centres as per the protocol
- Conduct periodic quality audit visits at the program locations to monitor & ensure compliance to quality protocols
- Identify quality gaps & facilitate process of improvement in implementation
- Preparing reports on training, quality monitoring visits
- Coordination with area managers for timely completion of activities, transfer of data & funds
- Coordination with implementation agencies as & when required
POST 2: Position & Salary
- Research Scientist post in the area of Supply Chain Analysis, Production Systems, Operations and Quality. (Location Mumbai office at IITB)
- Consolidated salary in range between Rs.50000 - 70000/- p.m. (can be revised further based on qualification)
Qualification & Experience
- PhD (Industrial Engineering) or equivalent degree, or
- M. Tech (Industrial Engineering) or equivalent degree with experience in writing academic papers/reports
- Data analysis and basic programming knowledge/experience needed, along with sound OR/OM background
Job Profile
- Advanced Planning and Optimisation of overall supply chain activities
- Develop effective strategies for improving system efficiency
- Preparing technical articles and reports on various aspects of SC development, deployment, evolution, and impact
- Design and execute sub-projects for performance improvement of supply chain, such as:
- Modeling and analysis of Supply chain (SC) systems
- Process planning and designing of ‘best in class’ assembly & distribution and after sale service network
- Standardize operations management processes & management training manuals
- SC game development
- Effective Quality control and quality assurance mechanisms
- Identify quality gaps & facilitate process of improvement in implementation
