Research scholar M Venkateswararao won the student Best Paper in ITS Workshop for his work on "Bus schedule for optimal bus bunching and waiting times" at the 10th International Conference on COMmunication Systems & NETworkS (COMSNETS 2018) held at Bengaluru this year. This work was done by Venky in collaboration with his advisor Prof V. Kavitha and their collaborator Urtzi Ayesta at CNRS
Prof Kavitha, Salman Memon (MTech, 2017), Prof Manjesh Hanawal, Prof Eitan Altman (INRIA, France) and Devanand (PhD student) recieved the Best Paper Award Honorable Mention for their work "User Response Based Recommendations: A Local Angle Approach" at the conference.
