Abstract : President Obama declared in 2013 that the US Government’s investments in  Genomics had returned 140:1 to the US Economy. He launched several new programs that have now resulted in the “All of us” initiative that will  sequence and record the health parameters of 1 million people in the US and will become the foundation for precision medicine. Goldman Sachs states in its April 2018 report on the Genomic Revolution that genomic medicine has a total addressable market of 4.8 trillion USD in the western world.  India  has already succeeded in localizing biopharmaceuticals, cinema, satellite and cellular communications, cable television, radio and computing. Can it do the same for genomic medicine?”
