Abstract: Inventory is an important aspect of supply chain performance. Business always tries to trade off between service and inventory. Higher the service more inventory needs to hold, but excess inventory also results in blockage of working capital and shelf life expiration. In General Mills, we focus on a robust process and data-driven approach to recommend correct inventory strategy and work cross-functionally to improve overall supply chain efficiency.
