The Annual Convention of the Operational Research Society of India (ORSI) & the International Conference is a leading platform to share information, among academia and industry, on the latest theory, methods, techniques, applications and the practice of OR.

The conference theme is Emerging Trends in Operations Research and Management Science (OR/MS).

The pre-conference event on Sunday, 16th Dec 2018 includes tutorials/workshops: (1) Design of Markets and Service Systems with Strategic Agents, (2) Introduction to Machine Learning, (3) Workshop on Computational Optimization, and (4) Risk Modeling and Optimization using Simulation.

The conference program will host 120+ presentations, from participants across 10 countries, covering all areas of OR. Attendees include academics, industry professionals and students. The conference features keynotes by Prof. Eitman Altman (INRIA, France), Prof. Nicholas Hall (President INFORMS, Ohio State Univeristy, USA), Dr. Sven Leyffer (Argonne National Labs, USA), Prof. Vittal Prabhu (Penn State University, USA), Prof. Luis Rabelo (Univ. of Central Florida, USA), and Prof. Suvrajeet Sen (Univ of Southern California, USA). the conference also includes a panel discussion, thematic parallel sessions, final round of "Best Practice Award", exhibition hall, product demonstrations, Blitz Talks @ Foyer, awards, etc.
