Sachin Bodke, a research scholar from Industrial Engineering and Operations Research (IEOR), recently visited the five Government Dialysis Centers in Madhya Pradesh. He visited the centers located in Datia, Dabra, Morena, Bhind, and Gwalior from June 15th to June 17th, 2023. The purpose of the visit was to gain insights into the challenges faced by these centers and understand the demands and requests of the patients they serve.
During his visit, he actively engaged with healthcare professionals, staff members, and patients to comprehend the operational challenges experienced by the centers. Through detailed discussions and on-site observations, he sought to identify key areas for improvement, including infrastructure limitations, equipment maintenance, staffing concerns, and accessibility to healthcare facilities for patients in remote areas.
