Tushar Shankar Walunj, a Ph.D. student, presented his ongoing research work, titled "Equilibrium Cycle: A 'Dynamic' Equilibrium," at the 56th ORSI Annual Conference and 10th ICBAI held in IISC Bangalore from December 18th to 20th 2023.
In his work, Tushar and his group have introduced a novel solution concept within the field of game theory, termed an 'equilibrium cycle.' His research delves into the dynamics of non-cooperative games with compact strategy sets and discontinuous utility functions. Tushar's work defines and explores the key properties of the equilibrium cycle, highlighting its significance in understanding the dynamics of the game.
