IEORA has organized a Photography Workshop in the department. The workshop is handled by our PhD student Anirban. The Sessions were taken on 15th January and 23rd January. 

2 Faculty members and 33 students of PSG Tech, Coimbatore visited IEOR, IITB as a part of an educational trip. IEOR PhD students Anu Thomas, Ketki Kulkarni, Niraj Ramesh Dayama. Goutam Sen and M.Tech student Mohd. Qavi told about their research and the connection between theoretical computer science and operations research. Prof. N. Hemachandra coordinated this program. 

Research Scholar Ketki Kulkarni participated in the 48th Inter IIT Sports Championships held at IIT Roorkee in December 17-24, 2012. She won the bronze medal in Tennis and won fourth place in Table Tennis tournaments.

All are invited for a chapter meeting of the Operational Research Society of India, Greater Mumbai Chapter at 5.00p.m. on Wednesday, 9th January in Room 201, Mech Engg Dept.  Formal or informal participation in chapter activities is invited and suggestions are welcome.
