Project title: Convergence and equilibrium selection in mean field games
Description: Large-scale interacting rational entities are ubiquitous in many disciplines of science and engineering, such as smart grids, financial engineering, and the spread of epidemics. One usually resorts to game-theoretic models to analyze such systems, and Nash equilibrium (NE) is a well-accepted solution concept that models their outcome. Since analyzing large-player games is computationally challenging, one usually considers a corresponding mean field game (MFG) and the notion of a mean field game equilibrium (MFGE) to approximate NE of many-player games. The aim of this project is to study algorithms for computing mean-field game equilibria for suitable mean-field game models.

Project title: iSURG-MR: An Intelligent Surgical Guidance using Mixed Reality system for Surgical Training and Decision Support
Description: The iSURG-MR project aims to develop a clinically validated, high-fidelity Mixed Reality (MR) simulation ecosystem and dynamic digital twin framework for intraoperative ultrasound (IOUS) guided neurosurgery and other surgical applications. This Technology Readiness Level 6 (TRL-6) platform is being developed to translate advanced human-in-the-loop simulations into real-world applications, bridging training gaps across Indian medical institutions.
