Title of Talk
IITB's involvement in Zero Base Time-Tabling (ZBTT) of Indian Railways
Abstract of Talk
This talk will summarize the contribution by our IIT Bombay's railway scheduling and simulation team towards the national level exercise that Indian Railways took up in 2020: the so-called `Zero Base Time-Tabling' (ZBTT). We had participated for only the so-called GQD (Golden Quadrilateral and the Diagonals) part of the entire Indian Railways' network. The talk will touch upon the key challenges faced in the exercise and the type of techniques/tools that were developed and employed to meet the challenges.
