Kritika Karwasra, a PMRF Research Fellow at IEOR, IIT Bombay, presented a paper "System Analysis of Train Operations on Rail Sub-network with Mixed Traffic and Steep Gradient",  co-authored with Prof. Narayan Rangaraj and Karuna Singh from Central Railways at the 16th World Conference on Transport Research (WCTR) 2023 conference held by CIRRELT University in Canada. Conference was held in Montreal, Canada from July 17 to July 21,2023.

IEOR participated in the 2022 Winter Simulation Conference (WSC) held at Singapore, from December 10th-14th, 2022.  The following works were presented

Jayendran Venkateswaran presented a paper titled "Agent Based Learning Environment for Survey Research", co-authers with Dr. Sayli Shiradkar, and Deepak C.  Prof. Jayendran V also chaired a session on "Simulation Education and Gaming".

The conference was also attended by IEOR alumni, Dr. Ketki Kulkarni, Dr. Ratnaji Vanga, Ms. Ankita Prasad.
