Abstract:  In this talk we try to generalise the notion of completely mixed optimals for the stochastic games. This concept was introduced by Kaplansky for matrix games and he gives a set of necessary and sufficient conditions for the matrix game to be completely mixed. Here we want to focus on the following question: Suppose the discounted stochastic game is completely mixed. Can we say the individual matrix games are completely mixed? What about the converse? We answer these questions in the affirmative partially under some conditions. We will also give examples to show the sharpness of our results.
