Students and faculty from IEOR participated in the 22nd International Symposium on Optimization held triennially by the Mathematical Optimization Society in Pittsburgh, USA. Research scholar Anusuya Ghosh gave a talk on a Convex Cone with Semidefinite Representable Sections while Umakanta Pattanayak, who is also a research scholar, talked on Intersection Cuts for Convex Integer Programs from Translated Cones.
Faculty member Vishnu Narayanan gave a talk on Local Polyhedral Property of some Integer Hulls and Ashutosh Mahajan described the latest developments in the Minotaur toolkit.
