1. Kindly check the "On the Spot Admission and Eligibility requirements" in the website http://www.iitb.ac.in/newacadhome/mtech.jsp to know eligibility for the same.
2. Please ensure your ID number is listed in the “List of selected candidates for IEOR” in the link http://www.iitb.ac.in/newacadhome/mtechSpotAdmission2019.jsp Mere listing of your ID number here is not sufficient. You need to ensure that you satisfy the eligibility requirement mentioned in (1) to be considered for Spot Admission. Some IDs appear twice; sometime IDs of people who have accepted other offers in COAP may also appear in the list inadvertently. Please check the following:
- If your ID is listed, AND you qualify as per eligibility mentioned in (1), then you are eligible for spot admissions.
- If your ID is listed, but you do NOT qualify as per eligibility mentioned in (1), then you are NOT eligible for spot admissions.
- If your ID is NOT listed, but you qualify as per eligibility mentioned in (1), AND you have given IEOR written test in May'2019, then kindly contact us.
3. Read the instructions (including reporting date/ time/ venue) given for IEOR under 'Details for On the Spot Admission' in the link mentioned in (2).
NOTE: Spot Admission requires your physical presence at IEOR, IITBombay on the said date/time with the relevent documents. The offers, against vacancy, will be based on your rank as per combined GATE score + Written Test score (The written test that was held in May 2019). For candidates who applied for IEOR under SC/ST category, offers will be based only on GATE score.
