The team of three project members (Neeraj Kishor Naik, Karthik Goud & Mohanish Kumar) visited CRIS, Delhi from 20/03/2024 to 22/03/2024 to give a demo on the use of a Simulator for performing following tasks:
Given an existing coaching train timetable between 300km origin-destination (OD) station:
1. Find about 15 conflict-free coaching-train paths for a single new proposed coaching train for this OD
2.Find 40 individual freight paths (for different firing timings)
3.Find 40 mutually conflict-free freight paths which would be of different path-qualities.
The demo was presented to M.D. CRIS, CRIS Officials, and Mr. Ravi Mohan Sharma (Northern Railways). The scripts for the promised tasks were successfully running on the CRIS servers.
