Anusuya Ghosh, a research scholar, won SIAM student travel award for SIAM conference in optimization.

She will be presenting her paper on "Convex sets with semidefinite representable sections and projections", joint work with Prof. Vishnu Narayanan.

This is one of the prestigious conference in the field of optimization which will held in San Diego, California, USA this year during May 19 - 22, 2014.

Prof. A Subash Babu and a few IEOR Students attended the Operations Management Conclave 2014 on January 17, 2014, which is a part of SPJIMR Business Academia Conclave (SBAC), hosted by SPJIMR, Mumbai.

The 3^rd winter school on Optimization and Control, organised by the Systems and Control Engineering & Industrial Engineering and Operations Research groups at IIT Bombay aims to expose graduate students to diverse aspects of the field of systems, control, optimization and certain current areas of research.
