Project Staff Position Available
We are looking for interested and hardworking candidates for a project on promoting and enhancing open-source software for optimization and simulation. The staff member will work with Prof. Jayendran Venkateswaran and Prof. Ashutosh Mahajan on the FOSSEE project.
Requirement: Candidate should have a B.Tech./B.E./B.Sc./M.Sc. degree and preferably one or more of the following:
Prof Narayan Rangaraj participated in the Indo German Logistics Forum at Berlin, Germany
Prof Narayan Rangaraj was invited as a speaker and participant in the Indo German Logistics Forum at Berlin, Germany on October 24, 2013. The visit was supported by the German Federal Ministry of Education and Science (BMBF) and the Indo-German Science and Technology Centre (IGSTC), India. He made a presentation on Railway Freight Transport and Multi-modal Logistics in India.
Prof Narayan Rangaraj participated in a workshop at Manila, Philippines
Prof Narayan Rangaraj participated in a workshop on Building National and Regional Economic Corridors organized by the Asian Development Bank in Manila, Philippines on October 16-17, 2013. He made a presentation on Multi-modal Transport Connectivity at the workshop.
Vikas Vikram Singh defended his Ph.D. thesis
Vikas Vikram Singh defended his PhD thesis titled "Some topics in Stochastic Games" on Oct 29, 2013. He has worked under the guidance of Prof. Mallikarjuna Rao and Prof. N. Hemachandra.
He will be joining as a Post-Doc in INRIA, France very soon.
