Rishav Deval, a Senior Research Fellow at IEOR, IIT Bombay, presented "Emission-based Production and Inventory Control System: A stability analysis for system cost and service level", a paper co-authored with Prof. Jayendran Venkateswaran at the 11th EUROSIM CONGRESS 2023 held at Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences, Amsterdam, the Netherland organized triennially by the Dutch Benulex Simulation Society (DBSS) from July 3 to July 5, themed Simulation for Sustainable Future, observed presenters from around 35+ countries with 100+ posters and presentations.
Simran Lakhani, a Research Fellow at IEOR also presented a paper titled "Online Appointment Scheduling of Patients in a Resource Constrained Facility" co-authored with Prof Ashutosh and Tata Memorial Hospital (TMH) doctors in online mode at the same conference.
The organizing committee also organized a technical trip to the European Space Agency to familiarise conference participants with the technological advancements of the agency at their aircraft testing site.
