Abstract: Consider a Distributor Company (DC) that is trying to set up a localized and sustainable supply chain network in rural India. After several discussions with DC's stakeholders, we came up with a business plan (BP) for the supply chain activation. Afterward, we make a simulation model based on a business plan using system dynamics methodology. In the said model, we simulate the entire supply chain network structure, which captures mainly inventory flow, cash flow, and other miscellaneous factors of the supply chain. We show how the simulation model (or a digital twin) can help in analyzing the performance of the supply chain. We also present our future discussions based on Exploratory modeling analysis (EMA) on the ongoing work.
