As you are aware circular was received from DR (Acad) stating that the hostel subsidy for Autumn 2011-12 has been revised and it will be raised from Rs. 3000/- to Rs. 6000/- by the BOG in its 210th meeting.
Remittance of Differential amount of Hostel Subsidy for Autumn 2011-12 by All UG and PG Students
(for 2011 batch only General/OBC-NC category students of B.Tech./Dual Degree/5 yr Int. M.Sc. programmes admitted through JEE 2011.
Circular is now received from DR(Acad) - which is put up on IEOR notice board, stating that the UG and PG students who have paid Rs. 3000/- instead of Rs. 6000/- are required to pay differential amount of Rs. 3000/- as a Hostel subsidy for Autumn 11-12.
This amount can be paid in cash section by Friday 16th Dec. 2011 by DD drawn in favour of the Registrar IIT Bombay payable at SBI or Canara Bank IIT pOWAI BRANCH . A fine @ Rs. 100/- per day will be charged from the defaulters w.e.f. 19th Dec. 2011.
This Circular be treated as most urgent.
