Proposed Research Plan (if decided)
My topic of research is 'Informal insurance schemes in networks'. In many areas where formal insurance schemes are not applicable, we use informal insurance schemes by using risk mitigation tools. Currently a plan to activate such a mechanism proposed by 'Prof. Yann Bramouille' was being studied following the guidance of Prof. Mallikarjuna Rao and also a new scheme to distribute risk by considering the ruin theoretic form of modeling the income and expenditure distribution was developed(in M.Sc. part 3 project work). Now we will look to answer the following aspects-
1. How to incorporate re-insurance schemes and analyze the model using evolutionary game theory concepts.
2. Build an algorithmic model to understand the working of the model.
3. Is being risk averse always necessary or is it possible to be risk loving at one point of time (following the analysis of Alia's paradox).

The current status of work proposed is as follows-
1. Modelling being done in R(and python) using time series analysis of ARIMA(p,d,q) models.
2. Formal proofs of efficient and stable networks being developed for the model developed in this semester which we have under consideration.
3. Re-insurance schemes of proportional re-insurance being incorporated in the model under study.
