Speaker's Bio: With over 20 years of experience in cyber security industry working for companies like EMC-RSA, McAfee (Intel) and FireEye, Atul Kabra currently serves as the Vice President (Threat Detection and Response) for EclecticIQ B.V. , a Netherlands based cyber security companys specializing in threat intel management. Besides the contributions in the corporate side of Cyber Security, Atul has been an inventor with 10 patents, an entrepreneur and also a pro-bono consultant to Govt of India on cyber security related issues.
Before being at EclecticIQ, Atul was the Co-Founder and CTO of PolyLogyx, where he built an Endpoint security platform using the open source tool Osquery. PolyLogyx and EclecticIQ joined force in 2020 as they laid the technology foundations of their vision 'intelligence at core' and started building the next-gen threat detection platform.
Atul is a graduate of IIT (BHU), XLRI Jamshedpur and National Law School (NLSUI), Bangalore. He has also been a prolific public speaker on national and international platforms on various aspects related to cyber security including technology, processes, society and governance.
When he is not breaking, or hacking things, he likes to write for print as well electronic media.
