PhD scholars attended the IndoML conference at BITS Pilani, Goa

Research scholars Santosh, Pintu, Pranav, and Sachin from the Department of Industrial Engineering and Operations Research (IEOR) participated in the Fifth Indian Symposium on Machine Learning (IndoML 2024). The event was held at the BITS Pilani Goa Campus from December 21–23, 2024.

IndoML serves as a premier platform for discussing machine learning research, featuring invited talks by leading experts from India and abroad. The symposium emphasizes mentoring Indian Ph.D. and Master's students, enabling them to connect with peers, seek expert advice, and explore collaborative opportunities at an early stage in their careers.

The event also fosters engagement between academic faculty and top research groups, encouraging high-quality research and competitive publications. Additionally, it provides a stage for industrial partners, including startups in machine learning, to showcase their innovations, gather feedback, and explore potential collaborations.
