Title: Designing and Optimizing Supply Footprint

Abstract:   Designing and Optimizing Supply Footprint Operating and transforming cost-effective and resilient supply footprint is critical to the profitable and productive manufacturing enterprise. We present a simple framework for categorizing key supply footprint transformation opportunities across strategic vs. tactical time horizons and low to elevated risk of execution. We further use examples of specific commodity footprints across the steel to scrap value chain and highlight the appropriate enterprise analytics enablers for managing effective execution.
