PG Cult 2011 saw a huge participation from IEOR in Dramatics, Letter-writing, Singing, Painting, Photography, Logic Quiz, Uncut Video Making, Ad-making, Mono-Acting, and Mr and Ms PG.
In phase 1, Team IEOR’s drama secured 2nd position in Dramatics. Chandrama Naha and Krishna Chaitanya V. won 2nd and 4th prize respectively in the Break-up Letter writing competition. Singing event (PG Idol) saw participation from Pratibha Saini, Chandrama Naha and Deepu Abraham, while Raju Prajapati, Nand Jee and Shriram Malve participated in Logic Quiz. Along with these, Chandrama Naha participated in Painting competition and Nand Jee, Debayan Das tried their hands at the Scavenger Hunt.
IEOR showed tremendous enthusiasm in phase 2 too, with a total of 6 entries in Uncut Video Making. Of these, two videos jointly won the 5th prize –
“Its time we cleanse the politics” (Team: Chandrama Naha, Ankit Kumar, Raju Ingulkar, Vibhav Kamath, Krishna Chaitanya V)
“Life Inside Out” (Team: Chandrama Naha, Vibhav Kamath, Mukul Sharma)

“Exception” (Team: Krishna Chaitanya V., Vinit Kumar, Sunil Kumar, Pratibha Saini)
“Instant Relationships” (Team: Violet Bhattacharyya, Vinit Kumar Rongata, Varsha Suralkar)
“Interview Lukkha Style” (Team: Krishna Chaitanya V., Vinit Kumar, Ankit Kumar)
Team of Chiranjoy Chowdhuri, Vibhav Kamath, Chandrama Naha and Mukul Sharma secured third position in Ad-Making competition. All the three ads submitted by the team were jointly given the 3rd prize. Also Raju Ingulkar, Krishna Chaitanya V., Vinit Kumar and Violet Bhattacharyya participated with another ad, adding to the enthusiasm.
Anirban Ghatak and Pratik Fadadu showcased their camera skills and brought 1st and 4th positions respectively in the photography competition; while Chandrama Naha displayed her versatile acting skills and won 1st prize in mono-acting.
PG Nite, the final day of PG Cult, concluded with the Fashion Show,
which had Indu Chaudhary as one of the participants.

As a result of immense enthusiasm shown by students, IEOR gathered a total of 148.5 points at PG Cult 2011 and was ranked 5th among 19 departments/centres.
