Riya Sultana, a Research Scholar from the Department of IEOR at IIT Bombay, presented a paper titled ''Cooperate or Compete: Coalition Formation in Congestion Games'', co-authored with Prof. Veeraruna Kavitha at the 63rd IEEE Conference on Decision and Control 2024 in Milan, Italy. The conference was held Monday through Thursday, December 16-19, 2024 at Allianz MiCo, Milan Convention Centre, Italy.

Research scholars Kritika, Santosh, and Rishav from the Department of IEOR attended the 51st International Conference on Computers and Industrial Engineering (CIE51), organized at the University of New South Wales, Sydney, Australia. This event was held in collaboration with the Decision Sciences and Analytics Group at UNSW and the Centre for Sustainable Operations and Supply Chain Resilience at the University of Adelaide from December 9 to 11, 2024. The POMS India International Conference 2024, organized by the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Ranchi, in december served as a premier platform for discussions on operations management and supply chain innovations. Centered on the theme, "Reimagining Future of Operations for Resilience and Sustainability in a Digital World," the event featured diverse tracks and engaging sessions. I had the opportunity to present my paper titled "Quantifying Supply Chain Resilience: A System Dynamics Approach”.

Santosh Palaskar, a research fellow at IEOR, IIT Bombay, presented the paper "HRA: Heuristic Reordering Approach for Preserving Dependency in Hierarchical Time Series Forecasting", co-authored with Prof. Nandyala Hemachandra and Prof. Narayan Rangaraj at ICPR 2024. The conference was held at the Biswa Bangla Convention Centre
Kolkata, India, from December 01-05, 2024.

Divya Jyoti Bajpai, a research fellow at IEOR, IIT Bombay presented papers "DADEE: Unsupervised Domain Adaptation in Early Exit PLMs" and "CAPEEN: Image Captioning with Early Exits and Knowledge Distillation",  co-authored with Prof. Manjesh Kumar Hanawal at the The 2024 Conference on Empirical Methods in Natural Language Processing conference held at Hyatt Regency Miami Hotel, in Miami, Florida. The dates for the conference were November 12, 2024, to November 16, 2024.

Dhawal Thakkar, Ph.D. student of IEOR, presented the work (under the supervision of Prof P. Balamurugan) on "Automatic Tweet Mentions Recommendation in X for Reporting Civic Issues - Case Study based on Mumbai City, India" at the 10th IEEE International Smart Cities Conference on "Smart Cities: Revolution for Mankind" held at Royal Cliff Grand Hotel, Pattaya, Thailand on 29th October - 1st November, 2024. Authors of the paper are Aayush Patel, Chaitya Dobariya, Dayanand Ambawade, Dhawal Thakkar and P. Balamurugan.

Bheeshm Sharma, a PhD student in the IEOR department at IIT Bombay, presented a poster at the 17th International Congress on Image and Signal Processing, BioMedical Engineering and Informatics (CISP-BMEI 2024). The poster was entitled "MCDDPM: Multichannel Conditional Denoising Diffusion Model for Unsupervised Anomaly Detection in Brain MRI.", co-authored by Vivek Kumar Trivedi and P. Balamurugan. The congress took place from October 26 to 28, 2024, at East China Normal University, Shanghai, China.

Prem Kant, a Research Scholar from the Department of IEOR at IIT Bombay, presented a paper titled "Constructive Comparison in Bidding Combinatorial Games," co-authored with Prof. Urban Larsson, Ravi K. Rai, and Akshay V. Upasany, at the 26th Japan Conference on Discrete and Computational Geometry, Graphs, and Games (JCDCG^3). The conference, a prominent event in this field, was held at the Tokyo University of Science, Kagurazaka Campus, from September 10-12, 2024.

Rishav Deval, a senior research fellow, presented his work titled “Towards Sustainable Net-Zero Buyer-Supplier Relationship: An Approach to Quantify the Green Bullwhip Effect,” co-authored with his supervisor, Prof. Jayendran Venkateswaran, at the 42nd International System Dynamics Conference (ISDC) held in Bergen, Norway, from August 4 to August 8.

Pranav  Machingal Presented a poster titled 'Identifying a structural domain’s CATH homologous superfamily using amino acid composition and Support Vector Machine' at the 38th Annual Symposium of the Protein Society held in Vancouver, Canada from 23-26 July, 2024.
