Bhavya had the opportunity to present her paper on "Simulation Framework to Quantify Supply Chain Resilience" at the 43rd International System Dynamics Conference (ISDC 2025), held in a hybrid format at Boston University, USA, from August 3rd to 7th.

On behalf of the department, we are happy to welcome Dr. Subodha Dharmapriya, Faculty from University of Peradeniya, Sri Lanka to IEOR, IIT Bombay. She is visiting our department as INSA India Science & Research Fellow (ISRF) for a period of 3 months (until mid-November 2025).

Simran Lakhani, a PhD scholar of IEOR, presented her research work "Offline Appointment Scheduling of Patients for a Scanning Facility Under High Demand", supervised by Prof Ashutosh Mahajan, at the 51st Operational Research Applied to Health Services (ORAHS 2025) conference held at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU), Trondheim, Norway from 05th July to 11th July 2025. The talk discussed the appointment scheduling challenges for a high-demand hospital scanning facility.
"Nitish Kumar Dumoliya, a research fellow at IEOR, IIT Bombay, presented his research work "An Efficient Design of Water Distribution Networks: An Approximation and a Heuristic", co-authored with Prof. Ashutosh Mahajan at the 22nd EUROPT Conference on Advances in Continuous Optimization (EUROPT 2025) held at University of Southampton, United Kingdom. The dates for the conference were 27 June 2025 to 02 July 2025.
Santosh Palaskar, a research fellow at IEOR, IIT Bombay, presented the paper "PatchLinear: Patching Based Linear Model for General Time Series Analysis", co-authored with Prof. Nandyala Hemachandra and Prof. Narayan Rangaraj at ISF 2025. The conference was held at the Beijing Friendship Hotel, Beijing, China, from June 29 to July 2, 2025.
Sanket Mishra, a research scholar at Department of IEOR, IIT Bombay, presented his work titled "Cash Flow Dynamics in Supply Chains: Addressing Cash-Out Risks through Trade Credit and Reserve Cash Strategies" at European Conference on Operational Research (EURO) conference in the University of Leeds, Leeds, UK. This work was done with Prof. Jayendran Venkateswaran. The conference dates were 22-25 June 2025.
