Divya Murali joined IEOR as a post-doctoral fellow and will work with Prof. K.S. Mallikarjuna Rao.Divya recently completed her PhD from the Dept. of Mathematics, at IIT Madras. Her research interest is in Game Theory and related areas. She will be working on her PDF with Prof. Mallikarjuna Rao, on  Stochastic games, Dynamic stability in evolutionary games, replicator dynamics.

Jayendran Venkateswaran delivered seminar on Energy Transition in India, Gujarat 2023

Professor Jayendran from IEOR delivered a seminar titled "Energy Transition in India: Road Traveled and Opportunities Ahead," which was organized as part of the events in Vibrant Gujarat at Hotel Leela, Gandhi Nagar on December 1-2.

During the seminar he shared his experience on leading the initiative on Solar Urja through Localisation for Sustainability (SoULS), which focuses on decentralizing renewable energy access and has earned accolades including the IEEE Empower a Billion Lives Global Award

Successful Completion of NOA-2021, CEP

"Naval Operations Analysis” (NOA) CEP course, a 16-week program, was conducted full-time from 25th Jan 2021 to 21st May 2021 for officers of the Indian Navy. The course covered basic mathematics, data analysis, applied probability and statistics, simulation, optimization, game theory and specialized topics in Naval Operations (viz., Combat models, Search and Detection). The student officers also did a month-long project. Many faculty and students contributed to this course. 
 

Successful Completion of NOA-2022, CEP

The course covered basic mathematics, data analysis, applied probability and statistics, simulation, optimization, game theory and specialized topics in Naval Operations (viz., Combat models, Search and Detection). The student officers also did a month long projects. Many faculty and students contributed to this course.
