As you are aware circular was received from DR (Acad) stating that the hostel subsidy for Autumn 2011-12 has been revised and it will be raised from Rs. 3000/- to Rs. 6000/- by the BOG in its 210th meeting.

Remittance of Differential amount of Hostel Subsidy for Autumn 2011-12 by All UG and PG Students
(for 2011 batch only General/OBC-NC category students of B.Tech./Dual Degree/5 yr Int. M.Sc. programmes admitted through JEE 2011.

Important Orientation is scheduled on 26th July 2011 i.e. today at 3.30 PM in Room No. 103 of Mech.Engg.Bldg. All New Entrants - Ph.D., M.Tech., MSc-PhD.2011 batch have to compulsorily attend as this orientation will give you the idea about courses and project work which you will be taking up.

MSc.Ph.D. new entrants have to gather in Room No. 103 of Mech.Engg.bldg. at 3.45 p,m. for registration and orientation on 22nd July, 2011 i.e. today.

All seniors have to come to room 103 positively at 3.30 p.m.

As per circular received from Dean (Acad.) interaction between freshmen and Ph.D. students on 19th July 2011, Tuesday, between 4.00 p.m. and 5.30p.m. All the Ph.D. students are requested to positively be in the Ph.D. lab around that time.

M.Tech Freshmen and Senior meet is scheduled on 20th July 2011, Wednesday between 3.00 PM and 5.00 PM at ME 305. All the M.Tech,MSc-Ph.D. Seniors are to be present at that time.

MScPhD registration & orientation on 22nd July 2011 in Room No. ME103, ground floor, Mech Engg Building. All seniors needs to be present.

It has been reported by the Chief Medical Officer, IIT Bombay Hospital that most of the students remain unvaccinated and many students suffer from vaccine preventable diseases.  Following vaccines are recommended as pre-admission compulsory vaccination:-

1. Typhoid

2. Hepatitis A

3. MMR - 1 dose after age of 15 years.

4. Chickenpox

5. dT

Only those students in whom, vaccination is medically contraindicated should be exempted from these vaccination on production of medical certificate.

Circular is received from Acad office No. Acad/Fees-Autumn 2011-12/Amendment/2011 dated 20.05.2011 regarding the students contribution to Hostel subsidy  which is enhanced from ` . 3000/-  to 6000/- w.e.f. Autumn Semester 2011-12.  In case any one of you wish to see the detailed fee structure in the Circular, you are requested to contact office.ieor for the same.

The on-line interface for course evaluation of courses registered for, by students, has been designed and tested by the Application Software Cell (ASC) in the Autumn Semester 2010-2011. It shall be used again for course evaluation in Spring Semester 2010-2011 as per the following details.
