About: The Supply Chain Practitioner's Council (SCPC), Mumbai Chapter aims to bring together the leading Supply Chain practitioners from across industries (esp. in Mumbai region) to showcase achievements, share best practices, while building a community which can influence policy making. This forum intends to create an environment to propel India towards global supply chain leadership and make it a go-to place for SC excellence. A similar forum is running successfully in Bangalore for the last 2 years and seven such editions have been hosted by companies such as Dell, Cisco, JDA and Honeywell, etc. and has been received very well.
The Event: The 1st SCPC workshop (Mumbai's 1st edition) is to be held on 29th May 2015 (8:30am - 1:00pm) at VMCC, IIT Bombay, with focus on the theme ‘Innovations in Supply Chain’. This 1st workshop is jointly conducted by IEOR, IIT Bombay and Johnson and Johnson, Mumbai.

Schedule of Events: The event will host two plenary talks, two panel discussions, and poster session by IEOR. The panel discussions will be on the theme 'Manufacturing Innovations' and 'Sourcing/ Procurement Innovations'. The exact schedule will be announced later.
