Kritika Karwasra, a PMRF Research Fellow at IEOR, IIT Bombay, presented a paper "System Analysis of Train Operations on Rail Sub-network with Mixed Traffic and Steep Gradient", co-authored with Prof. Narayan Rangaraj and Karuna Singh from Central Railways at the 16th World Conference on Transport Research (WCTR) 2023 conference held by CIRRELT University in Canada. Conference was held in Montreal, Canada from July 17 to July 21,2023.
About WCTR2023: World Conference on Transport Research focuses on problems related to the transport sector. Academicians and industry people from the transport sector presented papers related to topics like logistics, operation, traffic behavior, traffic management, the role of infrastructure in transport and etc. It happens once every three years for almost 50 years. It includes industry visits and supports a few students from middle-income and low-income countries.
