Raghupati Vyas a research fellow of IEOR IIT Bombay participated in the 4th annual IISc-CNI Summer School 2024 on "Algorithmic Structures for Emerging Wireless Networks and Statistical Inference in Large Dimensional Spaces," led by Professor Jean-Francois Chamberland from Texas A&M University at College Station.
The summer program aimed to establish a mathematical foundation for innovative approaches in wireless networking. It covered algorithmic foundations applicable across various engineering fields, such as communications, statistical signal processing, and machine learning. The program revisited belief propagation, highlighting its theoretical basis and practical application in decoding specific error-correcting codes.
