Title: Deep learning models for driver drowsiness detection and VQA for road scene analysis

Abstract: My work mainly focuses on using AI for images and videos, like classifying images, answering questions from videos, and restoring images. In this talk, I will discuss about my project on Driver Drowsiness Detection, where I created a special dataset and built lightweight models that check the eyes, mouth, and head parts of drivers to detect driver drowsiness in real-time. I will also explain my project on Visual Question Answering for Indian road scenes, where I developed a new dataset and a system to help surveillance videos understand and answer questions from scenes.

Day, Date, Time:  Wednesday, 09-July-2025, 11:30 am to 12:30 pm.

Mode: Online meet.
