Research Interests

I work on several key themes as stated below:

  • Digital Twins and Simulation: Modeling and analysis of complex, large-scale systems using Digital Twins, multi-paradigm simulation, and data-driven simulation approaches.
  • AI/ML and Data-Driven Decision Support: Developing intelligent, computationally efficient methods for prediction, monitoring, optimization, and decision-making in dynamic systems.
  • VR/AR/XR and Human-in-the-Loop Systems: Using immersive technologies, human-in-the-loop simulation, and interactive environments for training, experimentation, and decision support.
  • Smart Sensing and Cyber-Physical Systems: Integrating multimodal sensors and real-time data with simulation models for system monitoring, analysis, and control.
  • Complex Systems and Applications: Applying these methodologies to manufacturing, healthcare, logistics and supply chains, defense/security, and other complex socio-technical systems.

Three years of industry experience in the semiconductor manufacturing sector, working on the design, development, and analysis of large-scale manufacturing systems, including customized Digital Twin and simulation solutions that could be generalized and deployed across factories in different locations worldwide.
