IEOR had a strong presence at EURO OR 2024 in Copenhagen, Denmark from June 30, 2024 to July 3, 2024. Ph.D. student Kritika Karwasra presented "Optimal use of in-house and outsourced vehicles", based on her Ph.D. work. Prof V. Kavitha presented "Algorithms to solve Risk Sensitive MDPs, Games and Applications", based on work with her Ph.D. students Vartika Singh and Tushar Walunj. Prof Ashutosh Mahajan presented "Extending service locations optimally" and Prof Narayan Rangaraj presented "Direct Dispatch and Order Fulfillment Models in Retail Supply Chains" based on work done by M.Tech student Geetha Bhagavi Katikala and Tilak Raj Singh.
