IEOR is happy to announce that Prof. Avinash Bhardwaj has joined IEOR as a faculty member. This is a joint appointment with Mechanical Engineering Dept, IIT Bombay. He has been with IITB since 2018, his area of work is Optimization including linear, non-linear, conic, combinatorial problems. He will also be offering courses in IEOR, and guiding Masters and Doctoral students. His office is in ME building. For more details, visit here.
Festivals are the period of celebration and bring peace and joy for everyone. They are an expressive way to celebrate glorious heritage, culture and traditions. To mark the festival of Dussshera, students organized puja on October 4, 2022 at Teaching lab in IEOR. A beautiful Marigold flower Mosaic welcomed everyone at the entrance. To rejoice, lot of pictures being taken and snacks were served too.
