The research paper, co-authored by Prof. Ashutosh Mahajan, 'Minotaur: a mixed-integer nonlinear optimization toolkit', has been awarded the '2021 Best Paper Award' by the editorial board of Mathematical Programming Computation Journal.

IEOR participated in 14th International Conference on COMmunication Systems and NETworkS (COMSNETS) held in Bangalore, India, during January 3 - 8, 2022.
Vinod Khandkar (IEOR, IITB), Prof. Manjesh K Hanawal (IEOR, IITB) presented a paper titled Challenges in Net Neutrality Violation Detection: A Case Study of Wehe Tool and Improvements.
Vigilance Awareness Week (VAW) was observed in IIT Bombay. Vigilance Cell of Institute organized an essay competition during VAW. The topic for the essay was 'Independent India @ 75: Way forward'.
Sanket Mishra (Ph.D. student) secured 2nd prize in the essay competition. Heartiest Congratulations to Sanket. This the second time he has won the Vigilance Awareness Week Essay Competition.
IEOR is very proud to announce that Prof. Narayan Rangaraj has been selected as a Fellow of the Operational Research Society of India (ORSI). The recognition is for his overall contribution to the field of Operations Research. It was conferred in the ORSI Annual Convention held in December 2021.
Ms. Shiksha Singhal and Prof. Veeranuna Kavitha presented a paper titled "Coalition formation and Resource Sharing Games in Network" in the 39th International Symposium on Computer Performance, Modeling, Measurements and Evaluation 2021 under session "Networks".
Ms. Shiksha Singhal presented paper titled "Coalition Formation in Constant Sum Queueing Games" in the 60th Conference on Decision and Control (CDC) held between December 13-15, 2021, at Austin, Texas.
