IEOR department is very happy to announce that two of its research scholars have been awarded the prestigious PMRF fellowship. Mr. Pranav Vinod Machingal and Ms. Kritika Karwasra have been found worthy of the honour starting from Autumn Semester 2021-22.
Pranav is working upon computational methods for predicting protein function from its sequence and structure information under the supervision of Prof. N Hemachandra.
Kritika is a research scholar in IEOR department doing pursuing Ph.D. under the supervision of Prof. Narayan Rangaraj. Her current research interest is Integrated freight transportation planning.
The Prime Minister's Research Fellows (PMRF) Scheme aims at improving the quality of research in various higher educational institutions in the country. With attractive fellowships, the scheme seeks to attract the best talent into research thereby realizing the vision of development through innovation.
