IEOR department welcomed its new entrants for year 2020-21 on the first day of semester, 10th August, 2020. Since this semester is planned to be online, the department orientation was also conducted online by the IEOR students council and faculty. The session started with introduction and welcome message by Head, IEOR followed by the faculty members and department office along with a video showing glimpses of IIT Bombay campus and IEOR department. A few rounds of general questions about the students' hobbies, talents and interests made everyone speak and interact. Students were also encouraged to ask their doubts and questions regarding the department, academics and life at the campus. The program concluded with some useful tips for students to get started with the online mode of learning.
