Prof. Ashutosh Mahajan's paper awarded the '2021 Best Paper Award'

The research paper, co-authored by Prof. Ashutosh Mahajan, 'Minotaur: a mixed-integer nonlinear optimization toolkit', has been awarded the '2021 Best Paper Award' by the editorial board of Mathematical Programming Computation Journal.

The other co-athours of the paper are Sven Leyffer, Jeff Linderoth, James Luedtke and Todd Munson. The research presents a flexible framework for general mixed-integer nonlinear programming (MINLP), called Minotaur, that enables both algorithm exploration and structure exploitation without compromising computational efficiency.

This award is made annually to the best paper that appeared in print during the previous calendar year by the journal.
