Sachin Yadav Bodke and Nitish Kumar Dumoliya, research scholars from IEOR, attended the "Summer School and International Conference on Large Scale Optimization" held at Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur from 2 April to 10 April 2023. The school was basically on IP, MIP, MILP and MINLP. The experienced faculty from different IITs and IIMs taught the following topics;
"Branch and Bound, Branch and Cut, Branch and Price, Benders Partitioning, Cutting Plane Method, Lagrangian Relaxation, KKT Conditions, Column Generation, Dantzig-Wolf Decomposition, Multi-level Optimisation and Robust Optimisation."
The nine-day school was designed in such a way that participants could build an optimization model and solve that problem in AMPL and Cplex. While at summer school he networks with professors, researchers and working staff(who are working in this field).
