The team of four project members (Peddi Madhav, Vishal, Ketki Hulwan, Tanmay Goyal) visited the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation offices at Shastri Park, Mayur Vihar, and Karkarduma on a three-day visit to Delhi from 26-28 July 2023. The objective was to get firsthand exposure to their current operating procedures for managing the Timetabling and Crew Scheduling tasks, present the team’s progress and line of thought with them, and discuss and finalize the future plan for the development of the automation tool. The project team participated in elaborate meetings with several DMRC officials and also had a chance to meet Mr. Yogesh Singh, Deputy General Manager Operations DMRC, and Mr. Rajnish Rana, Senior Operation Control Manager DMRC.
