Sachin Bodke, 2nd year Ph.D. student at IEOR department, IIT Bombay, who works with Prof. Narayan Rangaraj, presented his ongoing Ph.D. work at the SOM 2023 conference held from 14-16th Dec 2023 at Shillong, Meghalaya.

Santosh Palaskar, a 4th year Ph.D. student at IEOR department, IIT Bombay, who works with Prof. Narayan Rangaraj and Prof. Nandyala Hemachandra, presented his ongoing Ph.D. work at the SOM 2023 conference in Shillong, Meghalaya.

Kritika Karwasra, the 4th year Ph.D. student, presented her ongoing research work at the SOM Conference at IIM Shillong. Her work addresses the critical resource management issue in today's highly competitive and vulnerable business environment.

Simran Lakhani, PhD scholar of IEOR, presented her work (co-authored with Prof Ashutosh Mahajan and Tata Memorial Hospital (TMH) doctors)  "Online and Offline Appointment Scheduling Under Uncertain Service Times" at the POMS India International Conference 2023 held at XLRI Jamshedpur from 04-06 Dec,23. 

Sanket Mishra 4th year Ph.D. student at IEOR department, IIT Bombay works with Prof. Jayendran Venkateswaran presented his ongoing Ph.D. work at the SOM 2023 conference in Shillong, Meghalaya. The theme of the conference was Sustainability and Resilience in Operations Management. 

Presentation topic: Digital Twin of a Rural Supply Chain Distribution Network Towards SustainableOperations. 

Chhavi Sharma, Ph.D. student of IEOR, presented her work (co-authored with Prof Vishnu Narayanan and Prof. P.

Professor Jayendran from IEOR delivered a seminar titled "Energy Transition in India: Road Traveled and Opportunities Ahead," which was organized as part of the events in Vibrant Gujarat at Hotel Leela, Gandhi Nagar on December 1-2.

During the seminar he shared his experience on leading the initiative on Solar Urja through Localisation for Sustainability (SoULS), which focuses on decentralizing renewable energy access and has earned accolades including the IEEE Empower a Billion Lives Global Award

Bheeshm Sharma, PhD student at IEOR, IIT Bombay, gave an oral presentation of his paper, PB-FELTuCS: Patch-Based Filtering for Enhanced Liver Tumor Classification and Segmentation, at the 4th International Conference on Medical Imaging and Computer-Aided Diagnosis (MICAD2023) in online mode on December 9th 2023. The paper was co-authored with P. Balamurugan, IEOR. The offline conference happened at Westminster College in Cambridge, UK, from 9th December to 10th December, 2023.
