IEOR is proud to report that the Head of the department, Prof. Jayendran Venkateswaran has been appointed Institute Chair Professor for 3 years from 18-3-2021.
Selection for the same is based on peer reviews of the overall research achievements and other achievements in the recent past. Contributions made to the growth of the institute are given due weightage in the process. The prestige of an endowed chair also lends an additional cachet to the department.
